PU organizes entry tests for undergraduate programs


LAHORE: (Sunday, June 15, 2025): Punjab University on Sunday organized entry test for admissions in undergraduate programs across the country. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali visited the examination centers in Islamabad and Rawalpindi while Chairman Admission Committee Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Khalid Mahmood, Dr. Ahmad Islam, Dr. Rehan Sadiq and Dr. Shahzeb Khan visited the examination centers in Lahore.

The spokesperson of Punjab University said that more than 33 thousand students registered for the entrance test. He said that examination centers have been setup in 20 important cities including Islamabad, Skardu, Gilgit, Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar of the country for the entrance test. The spokesperson said that the entrance test is being conducted in 114 examination centers across the country and seven types of entry tests are being conducted for admissions to all undergraduate programs. He said that 25 percent of the marks for undergraduate admissions are reserved for the entry test and the entry test was conducted in 2 shifts for the convenience of the students. The spokesperson said that shuttle service was also provided for students while suitable places and water were also arranged for parents.
