LAHORE: (Thursday, June 26, 2025): Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Ali has inaugurated an exhibition of works based on the theses of BFA Textile Design students organized by Punjab University College of Art and Design here on Thursday. On this occasion, PU Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood, Dean Faculty of Arts and Humanities Prof Dr Mahboob Hussain, Principal CAD Dr Samina Naseem, In charge Dr Asna Mubashara, faculty members and students were present.

In the ceremony, the students exhibited unique samples of textile products used in different fields of life and created textile works of art from different materials. In his address, PU VC Prof Dr Muhammad Ali said that the students have created textile products based on unique designs with great skills, which are no less than any professional designer’s work. He said that all the ideas of the students are marketable. He said that the work of the female students is so worthy that they should establish their own companies. He said that the Punjab University College of Art and Design has produced renowned artists in every field.
